I am always grateful
for opportunities to see myself
in a different way, from a new angle
In a fresh light
Taking a workshop or class
will often do this for me
Or forging my way through and to
the other side of a problem
Or doing something, anything
That I was once certain I couldn't
Comfort zone and perspective expanded
I see in the mirror or
Through someone else's eyes
A me entirely new to me
And then other times
It's something silly and playful
Like this Camwow app on my iPhone
That reminds me not to
Take myself or what I see
Too seriously
